Disability Coverage

Faculty are eligible for Long Term Disability on the 1st of the month coincident with or following your date of hire if you work full-time. Faculty are not eligible for Short Term Disability.

• Wellesley LTD Class 2 and 3 Benefit Summary

Administration employees are eligible for Long Term Disability on the 1st of the month coincident with or following your date of hire if you work at least 35 hours per week. Short Term Disability benefits may be payable through payroll. Please refer to your Administrative Handbook for more information.

Union employees are eligible for Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability after 12 consecutive months of being actively at work if you work at least 40 hours per week.
