
Katherine McCanless Ruffin is Book Arts Program Director at
Wellesley College.
The classes and workshops Katherine teaches in the Book Arts Program integrate
the book arts and the history of the book with various facets of the humanities.
Katherine teaches workshops around the country. She prints under her own
imprint of Shinola Press, and her fine press limited edition books and broadsides
are held in many collections in the United States and United Kingdom.

Katherine holds an AB from Bryn Mawr College and a Masters in Fine Arts in the Book Arts from the University of Alabama, where she studied the history and arts of the book, including the disciplines of letterpress printing, bookbinding, and hand papermaking.
