RESEARCH RESOURCES:

Wellesley College Online Catalog is a great place to start.

Click on Databases A-Z under "Articles & More" to find a specific database.

Citing sources, under "Get assistance." For print version citation information, go to the main desk in the Ref Room. Copies of Kate Turabian's Manual for Writers of Term Papers, Theses, & Dissertations, (6th ed.), MLA Handbook, (6th ed.), Chicago Manual of Style, and Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), (5th ed.) are kept there for the convenience of students working on papers in the library.

Other pages of interest would be E-reference books under "Articles & more," Borrow from elsewhere ILL under "Borrowing & ordering," and checking out our newest feature, "what is Encore?"

If you need up-to-date information on France (or any foreign country), go to the CIA World Factbook (the online electronic version). Another source for country profiles, under its Special Features heading, is Facts on File World News Digest. This database also contains some full-text historical documents, election results, and selected editorials from 1940 to the present.

FindIt! @ Wellesley is a feature that helps retrieve more full-text articles than ever before. It will also link you to NExpress or ILL if our libraries do not have access to the title.
