Hi, my name is Laura Sherriff (or Laura S. for short)* and I manage Public Services for the Research & Instructional Support Team.

I am the person to contact in LTS you have any questions about:

Services and programming delivered through the Clapp Library, Science Library and Knapp Media & Technology Center Service Desks.
Borrowing or accessing library materials.
Reserving and/or using a piece of equipment from the Clapp circulating equipment collection.
LTS support services for academic departments located in Green Hall, Alumni Hall, and the Keohane Sports Center.
Student employment within the RIS team.
LTS Social Media Efforts on Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr.

This year, I am heading up the Library & Technology Services Student Advisory Committee [LTSSAG], a committee comprised of elected student government representatives and student employees of LTS.

In recent semesters, I have worked with students and my fellow peers to develop innovative, student-focused programming and exhibits like "End of Semester Study Breaks", library books pickups in the dorms, therapy dogs visits, "I Love the Library" and "Banned Books Week" Displays, and more. If you've seen hula hoops, stickers and coloring books around the libraries, well, I am probably to blame.

I am *always* interested in hearing about ways in which LTS can better connect with our students through creative programming or personalized services. If you have an idea (small or large. all are welcome), let me know (I'd love to hear it!)

* Oddly enough, here are 3 Librarian Lauras in our RIS team. To distinguish ourselves, we address ourselves as Laura O, Laura R, and Laura S. There is also a Megan/Meghan combo, but that is a story for another day.
