Getting Connected

Get Connected: Connect your Windows, Mac, or mobile device to the “Wellesley Secure” wireless network and login using your Wellesley username and password.  If prompted, accept and install certificates from wellesley.edu. For questions or support, contact the Help Desk at 781-283-7777, helpdesk@wellesley.edu, stop by the Clapp Library, or search the Wellesley website for LTS Networking.

Use the MyWellesley portal to access all your Wellesley information. Visit https://portal.wellesley.edu to access the campus directory, academic calendar, dining menus, transportation schedules, grades, Google Apps, and more.

The Computing Help Desk has student consultants who are available to help with your technology needs. They can help you clean up malware and viruses, fix general operating system problems, help with network connection issues, and answer questions about supported College software. You can bring your computer to the Help Desk and drop it off, or schedule a visit in your room.  We are open Monday through Friday, 8:15am-5:30pm, located in the Clapp Library, and available via phone (781-283-7777) or email (helpdesk@wellesley.edu).

For hardware issues, such as a broken screen, we recommend using CTS Services, a local company that can repair the computer at a fair cost to you, or under warranty if possible. While the Help Desk does not do hardware repairs, we can take a look and give suggestions about what the issue may be. The Help Desk is a pick up and drop off point for CTS Services, so you don’t have to leave campus or mail your computer. Other options are Staples and Best Buy in Natick, or a local computer shop in the Ville near the Wellesley Free Library.  Search the Wellesley website for Computer Repair

Your Library account can be accessed through MyWellesley. Use it to request materials from other libraries, or use our online databases from off-campus. Search the Wellesley website for Accounts and Passwords.
