Adobe Flash Player
The free Adobe Flash Player plugin for web browsers, not to be confused with the full Adobe Flash application that comes with Adobe Creative Suite, is used to view multimedia, such as videos and games, that were created in the Adobe Flash format.

Due to its popularity, it is a constant target for malware and hackers, so it is constantly updated to patch security holes.  If you are prompted to update Flash Player when you turn your computer on, please follow the prompts to update it.  If your computer is on-campus, you should login to Cisco NAC (if necessary) before performing the update.

If you need to download Flash Player, please visit the following Adobe website. http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ Be sure to uncheck the option to include McAfee Security Center in the download.

Google Chrome has Adobe Flash Player built-in to it, and is updated automatically in the background when an update is available.
