CMS Credit

Participating in CMS For Credit

Students may elect to take CMS for .5 credits per year if they wish.  CMS may also be taken for no credit.  Although all participants are expected to commit fully to their ensembles, certain specific requirements must be met to qualify for credit. 

Participants for credit must be taking lessons at 199 level or higher, have taken or exempted MUS 111, and, if exempt from MUS111, be enrolled in some other course in the music department.  The final performance of each semester serves as an evaluation.  Participants for credit must play all year, although the ensemble for a participant may change in the second semester.
