Music Performance Faculty in Voice
Member of the voice performance faculty.
I am a member of the Voice Departments at Wellesley College and Towson University. I will also be team teaching a music history course at New England Conservatory, which will take an in-depth look at the Monteverdi "Vespers of 1610," culminating in a performance of part of the work. I have also held similar teaching positions at Brown University and New England Conservatory's Prep School.
My master's degree was in historically-informed vocal performance. I appear on more than 15 recordings (two Grammy-nominated) spanning from medieval music to Renaissance polyphony, to high baroque opera. I also maintain a very active performing career, which takes me across the United States and Europe annually.
I am interested in performing at a high professional level, recording, and nurturing a new generation of young singers.
My other interests include travel, food (eating), and staying in shape.
