Concert Series launches e-newsletter!

The Concert Series is launching a new E-Newsletter, so that YOU can learn about the upcoming world-class performances, featuring faculty, visiting artists, and student ensembles. We will have concerts, receptions, workshops, lecture-demos, and family shows, and they're all FREE and open to the public!

Our Wellesley BlueJazz Strings played for the Student Open Campus Parents Reception on April 22, 2013 and received a great response from attendees.  Earlier in the year, the group played for the College Trustees Reception "and were a big hit" said the group's Director, Paula Zeitlin.

 

A Musical written by one of our own!!!

Neal Hampton, the Music Director of the Brandeis-Wellesley Orchestra, is the composer for the new musical, "Sense and Sensibility, The Musical."   This show received a developmental production at Wellesley College, sponsored by the Theater and Music Departments.  It will have its fully-developed world premiere at the Denver Center Theater Company in April, directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge, the Director of the Broadway production of "Ragtime!"
