Hi! I'm Harini and I'm a sophomore at Wellesley. I'm a prospective Biological Chemistry major. I've been working in Tetel Lab since spring semester of my first year. This year I am constructing a vector for expression of mouse estrogen receptors alpha (ERα) and ERβ fused with glutathione S-transferase tag. I will then use this expressed mouse ERα and ERβ in protein-protein interaction assays to determine which proteins from mouse brain interact with ER.

I've known I wanted to go into research for a long time, after working in Gerngross Lab at Dartmouth College for two summers in high school. I'm looking forward to continuing research here at Wellesley!
