On April 22, the Wellesley Community is invited to join the greater Boston community in observing a moment of silence at 2:50 p.m. in memory of the victims of the events of last week.

In addition, students are invited to attend this evening's Senate meeting which, according to an event announcement on Facebook, will focus on the discussion of last week’s events. President Bottomly, Dean Kazanjian (Office of Religious and Spiritual Life and Intercultural Education) and Dean DeMeis (Dean of Students) will be speaking.

The Senate will convene this evening, Monday, April 22, at 6 p.m. in the Academic Council Room, located on the 4th floor of Green Hall. Today marks the second day of Spring Open Campus and, according to the Facebook post, all prospective students are welcome to attend the meeting as well.

Update: The carillon will play leading up to 2:50 p.m., pause for one minute, and conclude with the ringing of four bells.
