North Korea Experts Join Albright Fellows for Panel Discussion

On January 16, 48 fellows from the Albright Institute Wintersession gathered to hear a panel discussion titled “Beyond the Headlines: Understanding Korea.” The panel, moderated by Katharine H.S. Moon, Edith Stix Wasserman Professor of Asian Studies and professor of political science at Wellesley (center), included North Korea experts human rights activist Jieun Baek (left) and Melissa Hanham (right), senior research associate in the East Asia Nonproliferation Program (EANP), and covered a wide range of topics related to their time spent with the people of North Korea.
