Sciences Po Aix-en-Provence is a selective institution of higher education, within the University Paul Cezanne Aix-Marseille, specializing in political, legal and economical dimensions of governance with a strong international and European focus.  The institute is a public teaching and research university whose aim is to form future senior executives in public, semi-public, and private sectors.  The multi-disciplinary programs it offers attracts students from around the world.  Courses take place at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques of Aix-en-Provence, in a 17th century building, on the "Place de l'Universite" facing St Sauveur Cathedral in the heart of the historical city.

The Institut d'Etudes Politiques offers three study programmes to international students:

CEP Certificat d’Etudes Politiques (Political Studies Certificate) - A one year university diploma course, composed of two compulsory and specific 22 hour modules, two conferences de methode (small group seminars, continuous assessment, any 2nd or 4th year conferences de methodes specialisees, 2nd or 4th year language classes and 176 hours of chosen modules).
PEPA Programme d’Etudes Politiques Annuel - This one year program focuses on students who wish to follow a more personalize program, and offers a more flexible approach than that of the CEP.
PEPS Programme d’Etudes Politiques Semestriel - a flexible program which allows students to build their own study program for one semester.
