Wellesley OneCard Details
Photo - Digitized photograph of the cardholder (taken when the OneCard is initially issued).
Card Number - The card number uniquely identifies the cardholder as a member of the Wellesley College community. Note that this ISO number is not the same as your ID number.
ID Number - This is your ID number used by all of the Wellesley College computer systems to uniquely identify you. Make sure to enter this number when filling out any administrative form that requires your ID number (not the 16-digit ISO number mentioned above).
Name - Name of the cardholder.
Seal - The Wellesley College seal is used to verify the integrity of the card. If the card has been tampered with, the seal will be destroyed.
Bank Stripe - The larger magnetic stripe is encoded with your identification number (the same number that appears on the front of the card). Some departments have equipment to read the number on the card and they use that data to identify students for meal plans, for building access, and to retrieve records.
Vending Stripe - The smaller magnetic stripe is used to store cash value.
Signature - This space is reserved for you to sign, and thereby validate, your card.
Ownership - The Wellesley OneCard is the property of Wellesley College and must be returned if so requested.
