Research on American political behavior, racial and ethnic politics, religion and politics, and social policy and inequality.


Miya Woolfalk is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Wellesley College.  Her research and teaching interests are in American politics with an emphasis on political behavior, racial and ethnic politics, religion and politics and social policy and inequality.  Her current research focuses on the role of everyday social environments, e.g., churches and neighborhoods, in shaping individual political behavior.  Woolfalk earned her Ph.D. in Government and Social Policy from Harvard University in 2013 and her B.A. in History from Stanford University in 2005.
