Flower Sunday

Flower Sunday

Flower Sunday will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 10:30 a.m.

Flower Sunday, held just after students arrive on campus in the fall, is the oldest tradition at Wellesley, dating back to 1875. All entering first-year students will be given flowers by their Wellesley big sibling as an 'official' welcome into the community. Together they will come to the flower-filled Houghton Chapel and Multifaith Center for a wonderful multifaith program.
