Pamela Barz '83
Unitarian Universalist Chaplain

B.A. - Wellesley College

Master of Divinity - Harvard Divinity School

In the fall of 2006 my life circled around when I returned to Wellesley as the Unitarian Universalist Chaplain after having graduated from Wellesley in 1983 with a major in math. I would have loved to have had a Unitarian Universalist Community and Chaplain on campus when I was a student, so I am so glad to be part of offering that space for questioning, deepening, exploration, and support for current students.

In addition to serving specifically as the Unitarian Universalist Chaplain, I, along with the other members of the Religious Life Team, serve as a chaplain to the whole College community. As a Chaplain, I work with the Multifaith Council, host Knit for Peace, which meets on Tuesdays during the school year from 12:30-2:00pm, and plan panels and discussions for alumnae at Reunion and other times during the year. Please feel free to contact me with questions if you're interested in any of these activities.

When not at Wellesley, I live in New Hampshire with my husband and our twin sons.
