The Friends of Wellesley College Botanical Gardens occasionally will provide funds for plant-related teaching programs conducted by faculty.
Maximum awards of $200 are available to support classroom presentations, outside lectures, field trips, miscellaneous teaching expenses, etc. in plant-related areas. Interested faculty members should submit in writing a description of their needs and requested funds to the Administrative Manager, Friends of Wellesley College Botanical Gardens, Wellesley College Science Center. Once approval is received, receipts must be submitted in order to be reimbursed. Applications may be submitted anytime, but should be received at least one week prior to FOWCBG Steering Committee meetings (early October, January and May) for rapid consideration.
