Laboratory Safety

All students enrolled in Chemistry or Biology laboratories must purchase a pair of safety glasses, which must be worn at all times when in the laboratories.  Safety glasses are available in the Science Center Stockroom (first floor, room L100).  Your laboratory instructor will be able to tell you when the Stockroom is open (hours vary during the semester).

In addition, students must either download or purchase a copy of the book "Safety in Academic Chemistry Laboratories: Volume 1".  You can purchase the book from the Stockroom ($2.50) or download it from the Americal Chemical Society here.
