Joy Playter

Joy Playter is dean of the Class of 2014 (G-Z).  She joined the Class Deans at Wellesley College in 2000. A graduate of Case Western Reserve University, with an M.A. in Developmental Psychology from Ohio State University, she worked as the Pre-medical Advisor at the University of Minnesota before becoming a Class Dean and the Director of Pre-medical Programs at Brandeis in 1990. She is the mother of two children and enjoys gardening, pottery and running.
