College Summer School 2010
For 126 years Wellesley College has been providing
undergraduates with one of the finest liberal arts educations in
the world. In
2010, Wellesley College Summer School will once again open its doors
for the tenth year, and you have the opportunity to become a part
of a distinguished tradition of engaged learning and vibrant community.
Our Summer School is a co-educational program,
featuring full credit courses drawn from the regular Wellesley curriculum. It is open
to all college students, college graduates as well as eligible commuting
high school juniors and seniors. Wellesley College Summer School
combines academic excellence with a spectacular campus, state-of-the-art
facilities and a convenient location close to Boston.

Adam Schwartz, Senior Lecturer in the Writing Program
A workshop in the techniques of fiction writing together with practice in critical evaluation of student work. Mandatory credit/noncredit. Students who have taken this course once may register for it one additional time. Mandatory credit/noncredit.
Professor Schwartz is part of the faculty core of The Writing Program at Wellesley College, all of whom are all professional writing teachers who bring a wide range of experience to their teaching. Professor Schwartz is a fiction writer (with stories published in The New Yorker and numerous anthologies) who has been teaching expository writing for twenty years.
