221 Digital Imaging
Christine Rogers, Visiting Lecturer of Art
Artistic production through electronic imaging, manipulation, and
design. Emphasis is on expression, continuity and sequential structuring
of visuals through the integration of image, type, and graphics.
Handson production techniques of image capturing, lighting and
processing are explored in conjunction with print and screen output
methods. Lectures and screenings of historic and contemporary uses
of technology provide a background and context for the coursework.

Christine Rogers received a BA in 2004 from Oberlin College and her MFA in studio art from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in 2008. Upcoming and recent exhibitions include The Promise of Real Estate at Camel Arts Space in Williamsburg, NY, Unreal City, Unreal Country at The Gallery in Brooklyn, NY, New Family at The Birdhouse in Knoxville, TN, and Islands of Isolation at the Courtyard Gallery of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She has previously taught at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Chester College of New England and The Art Insitutute of Boston. She is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Art at Wellesley College.
