Wellesley College Students

Wellesley College students of diploma-grade standing may enroll in Wellesley College summer courses.  Wellesley College students not of diploma-grade standing may enroll with the permission of their class dean. Students on leave should consult their class dean before registering.  Wellesley College students are required to register on-line for classes at http://www.wellesley.edu/Registrar/stugradesalt3.html . Please contact the Summer School Office for special circumstances at 781-283-2200.

Visiting College Students

Undergraduates who are matriculated and in good standing at other colleges and universities are welcome to enroll in the Wellesley College Summer School.  Visiting College students need to include a note or a transcript from their home college's registrar's office confirming their good standing. High School Juniors and Seniors

High school juniors and seniors in good academic standing may enroll in the Wellesley College Summer School.  Although high school students cannot be accommodated in residence on the Wellesley campus, they are welcome to join all community events and activities.  Please complete the registration form, include a copy of your most recent transcript and a letter of recommendation from a guidance or college counselor.  If you have any questions about this process, please call the Summer School Office directly at 781-283-2200. 

Registration Procedures

Students may register for up to two courses per Summer School session.  However, those registering in a laboratory science course should not enroll in another course in the same session.  Applicants should bear in mind that all courses will require considerable study time outside class hours.

Confirmation of registration will be mailed to students promptly.  The final deadline for making all tuition and housing payments for Session I is May 29 th and for Session II, July 7th.  If you register after the payment dates, payment is required at the time of registration. 

Course Changes

Students may change or add a course during the first two days of each Summer School session, but the permission of the instructor and the Summer School Office is required.  Each student is responsible for completing a registration add/drop form and for delivering this form to the Registrars Office before the deadline (see calendar).  Students may drop a course at any time before the end of the first week of classes (Session I: June 20; Session II: July 18) without a WDR (for Withdrawn) appearing on their official Summer School record.  Students should drop courses promptly if they do not intend to complete them making sure to notify their instructors, the Summer School Office and the Registrars Office as soon as their decision has been made.  Please note that the dates for refunds are not necessarily commensurate with add/drop dates, please see the Summer School refund policy for details.

PLEASE NOTE:  Registration in the Wellesley College Summer School is not linked in any way to admission to Wellesley College for degree purposes.  Any eligible student wishing admission to Wellesley College should request application materials from the Admissions Office.
