Crabapple jelly

Black Walnut:

Brown Sugar Walnut Cookies

1 egg, well beaten
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1-1/2 cups chopped walnuts*
*I usually use 1/2 cup black walnuts and 1 cup English walnuts. The taste of black walnuts is strong and a little goes a long way.

Combine egg, sugar and vanilla. Combine flour with baking soda; stir into egg mixture. Stir in walnuts.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 7-9 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheets.
