Membership in Friends of Wellesley College Botanic Gardens is open to all who wish to promote interest in botany and horticulture at Wellesley College.
To join the WCBG Friends by making a gift on-line using a credit card, please click on the link below to go to the Wellesley College Resources Gift Page. Once there, fill out the on-line Gift Form. Under Gift Information, on the "Please designate my gift for:" line, select "Friends of Horticulture" from the drop-down list.
Note that you now can elect to have a monthly charge to your credit card when you make your membership gift online.

Member Benefits (for membership gifts of $50 or more):
- Discounts on all WCBG Friends courses, programs and events.
- Discounted admission to botanical gardens, arboreta, and conservatories throughout North America through the American Horticultural Society's Reciprocal Admissions Program (RAP). WCBG Friends members can present their Wellesley College Botanic Gardens membership card at participating gardens to receive free or discounted admission privileges or other benefits. Membership cards are sent to our donors along with their gift acknowledgement. Sorry, this benefit is not available to our organizational members (your membership card must be in the name of a person, not an organization or company). Please note that gardens within 90 miles of Wellesley College Botanic Gardens are excluded.

Your membership in the Friends of Wellesley College Botanic Gardens:
- Trains our volunteer docents who lead free guided tours for adult and student groups.
- Helps strengthen the Botanic Gardens' plant collections and informational displays.
- Encourages interest in horticulture and botanical sciences using the resources of the Botanic Gardens.
- Underwrites student and curatorial interns who enrich their knowledge while assisting staff.
- Hosts College events for prospective and current students, alumnae, faculty, and staff.
- Funds student research grants, course-related field trips, books for the Science Library, and more.
- Offers a variety of programs, courses, art classes and field trips to members and the general public.
