Assistant professor of Women's Studies in Transnational Feminism, tenure-track, beginning August 16, 2005. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Teach five courses per year (3-2 per semesters) contributing to the degree in Women's Studies and other interdisciplinary undergraduate and graduate programs within the college, and conduct research on transnational feminist studies. The successful candidate will teach women's studies courses including gender and international development; women, cultures, and society; and introduction to women's studies. Provide service to the department, campus, and community. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in women's studies or a closely related field. Degree must be completed by time of appointment. Demonstrated excellence in teaching relevant courses in women's studies at the university level and research record commensurate with appointment. The Chicana/o Studies Program in the College of Letters & Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison seeks to fill an appointment at the level of associate or full professor to be tenured 100 percent in the Chicana/o Studies Program. Applicants should have credentials commensurate with such rank at major research institutions as well as a distinguished record of scholarship, teaching, and service. Rank will depend upon qualifications and will be consistent with College and University policy. Applications are invited for a tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of English, Faculty of Arts at York University. The position offered is in our innovative new program in Professional Writing/Rhetoric. The Department of Women's Studies at Emory University invites applications from teachers/scholars with expertise in Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender Studies and Queer Theories. Ours is a senior position (tenured associate or full professor), and we are looking for a person with an established research profile in some aspects of LGBT studies who is committed to educating both undergraduates and Ph.D. students.
