Musician Bio

May-Elise MartinsenMay-Elise Martinsen ’12 composed the music for the Women World Partners video Every Morning, narrated by Madeleine K. Albright ’59.

While still a music major at Wellesley, May-Elise Martinsen '12 wrote the score for Snowflake 101, Wellesley's 2011 holiday video greeting. Since graduation, Martinsen has moved to New York City to pursue a career in musical theatre, both as a composer and performer.

In 2013, she made her stage debut in Castle Walk, a ballroom dance musical that premiered as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival. Currently, she is writing, producing, and directing 59 Days in New York, a musical v-log series about moving to The City… and hopefully staying there.
