Diane Sawyer ’67 was born in Glasgow, Ky. and majored in English while living in Freeman. After a  start as a Louisville “weather girl,” she worked in the White House, and helped President Nixon write his memoirs before going on to be an award-winning broadcast journalist at CBS and ABC.
