Uses a player.swf file and audio-player.js from Martin Laine posted at 1pixelout.net . Unfortunately, the player does not display total time - just elapsed time. There also isn't a way to adjust the volume once the sound is playing.
Internet Explorer users need to click the player twice to make it play.
This page has four audio files. Will it load on Windows IE and Firefox faster than a page that uses the QuickTime plugin four times, such as Wellesley Debates? It seems to load about 4-5 seconds faster.
First up, a student speaking at the Tanner Conference. (5:35)
Next, a brief song from Chris Kenner.
Thirdly, another brief song from Billie and the Basie Band.
Finally, Dr. John singing Tipitina (briefly :-).
