Some common questions we hear about Spring Open Campus
It’s up to you! About half of the students come alone, and half bring a parent or other guest with them. You can bring up to three guests. There are even separate events for guests to attend.
There's a lot on the schedule and the idea is that you pick the pieces that are most meaningful to you. It's actually impossible to go to everything so we try to give lots of choices. Arrive late, leave early, whatever you like. Build your schedule based on your unique travel needs and personal goals.
All of the available classes are listed in the registration form. Not every class on campus accepts visitors, so use the registration form to see what's available. You could take the time to read the course description for the class you're interested in, or you could just pick a class that has an intriguing title. It's up to you! Be bold. Try something new. Now's the time to take some risks and have some fun.
No problem. We love visitors and you can do an overnight most weekdays (Monday through Thursday) in April. We also offer class visits for accepted students for just about all of April, plus tours, lunch visits, info sessions, and there are counselors available to answer your questions. Check out other visit options.
Pack lightly, check the weather, and bring your curiosity and sense of adventure. This could be your community for the next four years, and your (pretty amazing) network for the rest of your life. Pay attention to the little things like the conversations you have over dinner, how accessible the professors are, and whether this feels like home. Will you be successful and happy here? That's what matters most! And finally, make friends and have fun.
