Sara Squeglia

Dean of the Class of 2026 (A-Q)

Sara Squeglia, Dean of the Class of 2026 A-Q, joined the Class Deans' Office in November of 2021. Dean Squeglia provides support to Wellesley students as they navigate and achieve their academic and personal goals. Prior to joining the Wellesley community, Dean Squeglia served as an undergraduate advisor to thousands of students at various institutions, including: Simmons University, Brandeis University, and Boston College. You can often find her poring over unique syllabi while playing with her kitten, Mozzarella (you can call her Rella), or very excitedly discussing academic pathways with current and former students.

Dean Squeglia holds a B.A. in Sociology and a B.A. in Women's and Gender Studies from Providence College, and a M.A. in Higher Education, Student Affairs from Boston College. Originally from New Haven, Dean Squeglia has lived in New England her whole life, aside from an incredible study abroad experience in Florence, Italy. She is an avid runner (especially during the fall) and enjoys challenging herself with new recipes to cook at home. Dean Squeglia is currently pursuing her PhD in Educational Studies with a research focus on the well-being and retention of student affairs professionals and how these factors impact the college student experience.

Dean Squeglia's office is Schneider 224 and you can contact her at ss123@wellesley.edu.
