Mastercard Foundation Scholars
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars program at Wellesley College is a two-phase holistic program supporting 23 Scholars over 15 years. With generous funding from Mastercard Foundation, Scholars admitted to Wellesley College receive comprehensive academic scholarships, skills training, transition support, access to thousands of Scholars worldwide through an internal online platform, and support from the WellesleyPlus program. Scholars played a key role in hosting a first-of-its kind African Women’s Leadership Conference in March 2018.

Wellesley is proud to be a QuestBridge partner school. This nonprofit organization links bright, motivated, low-income students with educational and scholarship opportunities at some of the nation’s best colleges.
Posse
The Posse Foundation identifies high school students with extraordinary academic and leadership potential who may be overlooked by traditional college selection processes. The Foundation extends to these students the opportunity to pursue personal and academic excellence by placing them in supportive, diverse teams—Posses—of 10 students and matching them with some of America's top colleges and universities. Wellesley is proud to be Posse Houston's second STEM program partner. Through the program, high achieving students from the Houston, TX area who are interested in studying science attend Wellesley and are awarded 4 year full tuition leadership scholarships. The program includes extensive pre-college training, mentoring and support services, leadership training and career services.
