Codruţa Morari is an Associate Professor in the French Department where she teaches French cinema.

Her most recent work examines the dynamics of film criticism on both sides of the Atlantic and more largely the place of cinema in the public sphere. She is the author of The Bressonians: French Cinema and the Culture of Authorship (2017).
