Emma Lurie
Emma Lurie is a Wellesley College junior majoring in computer science with a minor in Chinese.

She is especially interested in the societal impacts of emerging and established technologies. Emma works in the Wellesley College CRED lab investigating methods to assess the credibility of online sources and the ongoing “fake news” crisis. Emma works at the MIT Election Data Science Lab helping create a national database of standardized and searchable precinct-level election data. Emma is also passionate about increasing diversity in STEM and has worked with organizations such as Girls Who Code and Robogals.
