Her work concentrates on environmental and educational policy. In the summer of 2021, Alex worked as an intern with the Vieques Conservation and Historical Trust, where she supported the research and protection of the bioluminescent bay. On campus, Alex works as a RA in Pomeroy and a TA for Canons of Political Thought. She is a part of Wellesley College choir and a DJ at the campus radio station. Alex has working knowledge of French and intermediate Spanish skills. Alex’s goal this summer is to find an internship in a francophone country focusing on policy, education, or conservation work. Upon graduation, Alex hopes to work or study internationally in West Africa or Latin America.
