Anne Jiang
Anne is a junior double majoring in economics and music with extensive coursework in post-colonialism, Middle Eastern Studies, and French.

In the summer of 2021, Anne travelled to Marrakesh, Morocco to intern at the Musée Yves Saint Laurent and Musée Pierre Bergé des Arts Berbères, examining various artifacts that tell stories about the cultural connections between Morocco, France, and the Amazigh people. She has previously piloted a vocational English course for low-income women at an American center in Mohammedia, Morocco and profiled Jewish sites in the MENA region at Diarna Heritage Mapping. At Wellesley, Anne is proud to serve as Editor-in-Chief of GenerAsians Magazine, an Asian-diasporic interest publication. She is actively involved in student residential life, serving her second year as the Resident Assistant in the French House. She also enjoys singing in the Wellesley College Choir and in the Chamber Singers. Anne speaks fluent Mandarin and French and has a working understanding of Moroccan Arabic. She hopes to attend graduate school to study international affairs with a particular focus on economic development.
