Elizabeth Kinsey
Betsy is a junior Economics major interested in environmental policy and development.

Last summer she worked for an environmental non-profit as a field organizer building public support for the EPA's proposed Clean Power Plan. On campus she works on the student campaign to divest from fossil fuels and as a research assistant for an economics professor on water and sanitation accessibility in India and Peru. During her junior fall she studied the political economy of food, water, and energy in Vietnam, Morocco, and Bolivia. After graduation, she would like to conduct research on environmental and social conflicts in South America.
