In the summer of 2021, she studied early English medical advertisements at the Reading Early Medicine Institute, interned in the Development office of the San Francisco Ballet, and worked as a research assistant for the National University of Singapore, editing academic essays on political economy and corruption in China. She is fluent in Mandarin. On campus, Ellie is a member of the varsity cross country team as well as the Wellesley College Tupelos a cappella group. Her goals upon graduation are to work in public policy in Taiwan and to attend conservatory for classical conducting.
