Gabi Guzman
Gabi is a senior majoring in Russian Area Studies with a minor in Environmental Studies.

In the summer of 2014, she worked as a research assistant at the University of Michigan's Political Science Department, where she assisted in building a database on protest in the Former Soviet area of Central Asia. Gabi spent the spring semester of her junior year in Cordoba, Spain. During the winter of her sophomore year she interned at the Georgian National Gallery in Tbilisi. On campus, Gabi has served through several leadership roles, her most recent as Russian Club Co-President this fall. She speaks Russian, Spanish, and Italian. Gabi completed her bachelor's studies this fall and has accepted an internship at the US Embassy in Moscow for the spring semester. After the internship, Gabi's goal is to return to school to pursue graduate studies, focusing on the Russian area and international policy.
