She is currently studying abroad at Oxford University where she is exploring the effect and ethics of government agencies employing AI technology. This past summer, she was an intern at the China Market Research Group in Shanghai, China where she modeled and predicted recycled plastic price and usage under different legislation regimes. On campus, Jess is part of the Davis Museum Student Advisory Committee and a Wellesley Wushu fanatic. She is fluent in Mandarin and has a working proficiency in French. Next summer, Jess hopes to work in a place that will allow her to combine her technical background with her international experiences.
