Karolina Oleszczuk
Karolina is a senior majoring in Peace & Justice Studies and Cinema & Media Studies.

She is an international student from Warsaw, Poland and Paris, France. Her interests lie in the media and art representations of conflict, injustice and the human experience. She is also very interested in mediation, methods of communication and storytelling. Karolina speaks 5 languages. She was awarded the MacFarquhar International Journalism Grant, which she used to pursue a documentary film project about politics in Poland and the engagement of the youth. The medium she uses most in photography. Last summer, she worked as a creative project manager for an international women’s artist collective as well as an interned as a strategic marketing analyst. In the near future, she wants to gain professional experience in project management in the media industry or the PR and communication fields in the framework of NGOs and foundations. She is also interested in Corporate Social Responsibility practices and bridging corporate strategies with non-profit causes.
