She spent the summer of 2022 at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she conducted research on imaging microorganisms using scanning electron microscopy. She holds a position as a student grader for the physics department and is fluent in Spanish. She is interested in how science and art can come together, and hopes to pursue a career that combines the two.
