Lindsey Gordon
Lindsey is a junior majoring in Astrophysics.

She spent fall 2019 working full-time at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) as an intern in the Accelerator Technology and Applied Physics (ATAP) division, working on a compact multi-beam linear accelerator. In summer 2019 she participated in the KNAC Astronomy REU at Middlebury College working to discover double quasars in archival Hubble data. Over Wintersession 2019, she attended MIT’s Astronomy Field Camp at Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona where she wrote Python code to pull stellar flares out of K2 datasets. On campus, Lindsey works as a book conservation assistant in Clapp and as a night assistant for the intro astronomy classes. In her free time she does theater as a member of the Shakespeare Society and with the theater department, and recreationally observes the night sky as a member of A.S.T.R.O. club. She plans to pursue a PhD in Astronomy and work as a researcher.
