Melissa Bruehl
Melissa Bruehl is a senior double majoring in Political Science and Peace and Justice Studies.

She is conducting a thesis on the comparative gendered experiences of asylum seekers in the international refugee regime. In the summer of 2017, Melissa was able to work as general logistical and educational support at LM Village Refugee Camp in Greece. In past summers, she has had the chance to work for a state governmental agency focused on economic development and teach middle school students. On campus, Melissa is the President of the Wellesley Debate Society. After graduation, Melissa plans to continue to follow her passion in advocating for refugees through either public policy or direct service in resettlement programs.
