Sahar Ibrahim
Sahar is currently a junior majoring in anthropology.

Her particular interests lie in the area of medical anthropology. In the summer of 2013, Sahar worked as a health administration intern at the Aga Khan Hospital, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where she engaged with and observed the development of community health initiatives. Sahar spent the following summer working as a canoe and kayak instructor in Calgary, Canada. On campus, Sahar is a member of the Slater International Student Organization's executive board, a member of the Wellesley Varsity crew team, and a member of the Science Club for Girls organization, for which she recently designed and implemented a curriculum on the effects of microgravity on the human body. Sahar hopes to pursue research in the field of medical anthropology this summer in areas of rural Karnataka, India.
