Tanushree Mohan
Tanushree is a senior double majoring in Economics and Women and Gender Studies.

She is writing her thesis on the legal, religious and historical context behind gay and lesbian suicides in India. In the summer of 2017, Tanushree worked at the Women and Public Policy Program (WAPPP) at Harvard Kennedy School, where she helped plan events and research national policy relating to women. On campus, she works with Professor Sari Kerr of the Economics department with her research, and is the recipient of the Morse Fellowship from the Wellesley Centers for Women (WCW). She speaks English, Hindi, Marathi, and has a working knowledge of French and Spanish. After graduation, Tanushree hopes to work for an organization that focuses on gender justice and public policy, preferably here in the United States.
