Tine  Oginga
Tine is a junior majoring in Africana Studies with a possible minor in Environmental Studies.

In the fall, Tine is studying abroad in SOAS, University of London. In her sophomore summer, she volunteered at the Aga Khan Educational Services in Kampala, Uganda. She helped the students prepare for the 2018 East African Spelling Bee and taught few classes. On campus, Tine works in the Harambee House, has done research at the MIT Media Lab and is a member of Wellesley African Student’s Association (WASA). Tine is also an active radio DJ at WZLY 91.5FM. Tine’s goal upon graduation is to increase educational opportunities in East Africa.
