Yashna Shivdasani
Yashna is a junior from Mumbai, India, majoring in Economics and Mathematics.

In the summer of 2018, Yashna worked as a research assistant at MIT Sloan School of Management, conducting research in healthcare economics, to determine how the entry and exit of generic drugs in the pharmaceutical market affects prices and competition. On campus, Yashna has been a varsity track and field athlete, associate editor for the Wellesley Globalist and cultural chair for the Wellesley Association for South Asian Cultures. In the fall of 2018, she is studying Economics at the University of Oxford. Upon graduation, Yashna wishes to be involved with applying quantitative analysis to monetary and fiscal policy, through a role at a central bank, government ministry or an international financial institution.
