Aminah Praileau ’21

Aminah Praileau
Ministrare Fellow

Aminah Praileau (she/her) is a senior double majoring in sociology and education studies. Her academic and career interests revolve around educational equity and social policy, so she is thrilled to be able to further immerse herself in critical education and youth work as a Ministrare fellow. In previous years, Aminah has engaged in nonprofit work through Civic Engagement's Lumpkin Summer Institute for Service Learning, and also had the opportunity to spend a winter Alternative Break volunteering around Boston with her peers. Outside of Ministrare Council, Aminah can be found harmonizing with the MIT-Wellesley Toons, connecting with prospective students as a Diversity Intern in the Office of Admission, or baking sweet treats for her friends and family. Amidst this tumultuous global reality, Aminah hopes to cultivate a warm, accessible, and impactful community through Civic Engagement's work this academic year.
