Claire Cheek ’21

Claire Cheek ’21
Ministrare Fellow

Claire Cheek ’21 is a senior at Wellesley studying English. She first joined Ministrare Council as a Community Development Coordinator in her sophomore year, then became an Alternative Breaks Coordinator where she co-led two service trips to Washington D.C., and Bangor, Maine. Outside of Ministrare, Claire is on SBOG, writes poetry for the Wellesley Review, and is excited to start working on her senior thesis on Robert Lowell and the artistic and personal limits of confessional poetry. Claire is from Missouri and loves cooking elaborate meals, swimming in any body of water she can find, and visiting small bookstores. She is excited about exploring new volunteer opportunities through virtual engagement and hopes that Ministrare Council and the Wellesley Community will find transformative ways to engage with each other despite the distance this year.
